Regardless of what I agree or disagree with regarding what others in the community think, I think it's impossible to ignore the influence that our community and the annon community in general has had on the world at large. I would go so far as to say, and have said, that we were being watched not only by "bad guys", but also by sane people in positions of power who also saw the very bleak future for their kids and grandkids, but didn't know how to avert the looming catastrophe until they saw what we were doing.
We are tiny and insignificant now, but old Voat wasn't. And we don't have new users now because 90% of the old Voat community didn't migrate over. A large percentage of those people seem content to exist on chat communities which require the attention span of a low IQ goldfish to be able to function on.
And of course, old Voat wasn't big in terms of number of users, but in terms of influence on the internet we were force multipliers who broke the algorithms before (((they))) even understood they were under attack.
It really does feel like all the effort in the past decade is starting to pay off. If you were there shit posting with me, thank you. You are the coolest people on this planet. Multi-million dollar propaganda campaigns can't compete with us. And that's because we have history on our side. No amount of jewish dollars can buy or take that away.

Userbase would be as vulgar and unwelcome as possible to each other within the defaults, there wasn't discussion, and that is no different than now.
Top posts hover around 50 votes as an average here now, where a year ago was 100, back on old voat was in the 1000s because the community would foster who they could get, like fatpeoplehate or qanon because it means numbers.
