I think people do not grasp the impact of this much money being cut off and it's wonderful.
It was said that in the 1980s the billions of money made from cocaine imports built all the major skyscrapers in Miami and many other cities.
I would expect hundreds of billions of dollars being cut off from a specific group of insider lefties to affect many areas that they frequent and spend money and many housing areas that they live in etc in a similar fashion.
The truth is their activities have been artificially inflated by hundreds of billions of dollars a year from what looks like at least a decade or more.
The housing market is never going to truly normalize while banks are allowed to give out exorbitant loans which create artificial demand. It's the same thing for college. There's pretty much 0 demand for $40k/yr education. The only reason it exists is because of predatory loans.
If you've ever seen one of those videos or graphics about prices of things like tuition, homes, cars, etc. over the past hundred years or so after adjusting for inflation, you will realize that all of the "necessaries" (the three things I just mentioned) are way higher than other categories. Groceries may be up 50% after adjusting for inflation, but homes are up about 450%, tuition is up over 1,000%, cars are up about 200-300%. People aren't allowed to exist outside of the debt-slave system. Unless you don't want to be a homeowner.
Basically, if the FED didn't exist, and interest rates actually reflected the true economic time-value of money in real time, the prices of everything would normalize. Way fewer people would be willing to take out loans if the interest rates on them were 15-20%. This would lead to a drop in demand, and a corresponding drop in prices, and a corresponding drop in consumer debt, and a corresponding increase in kvetching.
Mass Deportations, and Self-Deportations will bring down the housing market soon.
Immigrants being cut off from USAID, NGO's, SNAPS, and other Federal funding will force them to attempt to work illegally. Most employers will not risk will get caught and fined.
This is very true. The funding cuts are a much bigger deal than a lot realize. Shitlibs were basically all living off of these gibs, sometimes directly and sometimes a few steps removed. Their economy is being destroyed.

Doge has temporarily cut $60 billion in wasteful spending. Not hundreds. And, given the $6 Trillion budget, $100b, or 1/60th of the budget won't be missed.
Yeah but it's very concentrated wealth. It looks like it was directed to a relatively small portion of people I would guess between $2,000 and 5000 people were the primary recipients of that money via all the fake ngos they created and made themselves CEOs of.
So it'll have a disproportionate effect on casual spending items like houses that are too large Lear Jets and other stuff like that that people who get free money they didn't really earn typically spend on.
I bet they are. The one thing about the federal government jobs is they used to be low paying but once you got one you're pretty much held on to it for life and you could count on a decent but not exorbitant pension or lifestyle.
The real problem is they've come under fire because their pay has gotten way too high compared to the rest of the world their pensions are way too high compared to the rest of the world and then comes out all this stuff about the secret of funneling of billions of dollars through things like usaid to friends and families of federal workers or people in high positions.
So now everybody's looking to cut everything in those federal workers no longer can count on lifetime employment and their pensions and they're going to just have to exist in the job market like everybody else which I'm sure terrifies them because they thought they were better than that. The truth of the matter is they all thought they were better than regular people having to struggle in the regular job market. and that's why they hired people that were like themselves and thought like themselves because then they could all convince each other that they really were better than all the rest of the people who didn't have a federal government job.
As always, a good start, but the finish line is still nowhere in sight. It's been like four months now? Time will tell if this is legit, or just a smokescreen.
