most kids around here don't know, but south africa was once consider a first world nation back in the early 80's (well almost a 1st world nation.)

-it had one of the strongest econns on the planet.
-one of the best and most advanced millitaries
-a space program
-nuclear power
-exported foods to the planet
-had an excellent school system
