I used XP Pro for many years, until it was sabotaged by 'progress'. Now I use Win 7, and see the same slow creep of 'progress' targeting it. Fortunately I will not be caught unprepared again, and forced to accept the corporate malware infested Win 10/11/12.

I have linux installed on a separate hard drive, and play with it a little every day. If/when Win 7 is rendered useless, I will move on to MX Linux. FU Billy Gates and your OS too!
