Yes. Reddit, Scored, Upgoat, and 4chan are all riddled with bots. If you want, I can try to make an article how to detect bots posing as humans.

It's not just forums, it's everywhere online. Chat groups are particularly vulnerable to this.

This is nonsense. When you read the story, the bots didn't change minds. The bots satisfied the bias.

No one on reddit went from genuinely "I hate troons" to "I love troons". It was more like "Troons are okay" to "Troons are being oppressed". Or "White man bad" to "white man really bad."
