Well he's likely forced to have to sell it because if he wasn't being forced by the financial terms of the divorce then the smartest thing when he would do is keep it and get another woman and never marry her. I'm with you here. Hard to tell from a short clip but he could have been a horrible husband in other ways. He appears handy and the house/ land seems really nice but if there are unmet expectations/problems in other areas the living situation doesn't really matter.
