I have. Was hitchhiking around the country (kind of a big circle) and stayed with lots of strangers. Mostly I'd toss a sleeping bag on the ground to sleep but occasionally got invited into someones place. It's how I learned about cast iron pans when I cooked eggs is some vegians pan. Opps. My mom always left the bacon grease in hers and stored it in the stove drawer with bacon grease in it, didn't think or know the perculiaries of veganism. Dear lord you have thought I kicked his puppy.
I apologized and later before I lit out I fixed their rotten stairs and handrail and they were all greatful.
