A non democrat, I would propose you enact two rules:

1) Anyone caught pretending to be homeless would receive a mandatory sentence of one year. This would be based on income, and stiuation.

2) Anyone who is legitimately homeless, who is dealing with addiction or mental issues, need to stay in treatment, and not rescind, in which case see option 1.

It would take 12 months, and homeless would be gone.

Well, naturally right-wingers like yourself are even more reactionary than Democrats. As basically Republicans you're apologists for the capitalist order and seek as here to reinforce normie lifestyle norms and attack alternative lifestyles, from which wells of resistance can surface. The right, if not careful, is usually more bourgeois than liberals. It makes no sense but conservatives still only have half a clue, supporting 'law and order' crackdowns so they can feel manly. This kind of hairy chested rhetoric makes you guys feel tough. Most of you are probably property or business owning old farts too - and that never helps. Makes you defenders of the status quo as a matter of class position and personal interests.

Sorry if this comes across as overly-personal in tone - but revolutionaries are not usually 65 year old shopkeepers.

You misunderstand my general position, but that aside, you are generalizing in a dangerous way. You said all of that and missed the success of ethnocentric society. Samuel P. Huntington explain it quite eloquently, "A world without civilizations is a world without identity.", or ""America is not a lie; it is a disappointment. But it can be a disappointment only because it is also a hope."

Well, you DID speak as if homelessness being gone is a desirable end. That is system think. Huntington was also a system thinker, for any value he definitely did have, along with someone strongly associated with the Trilateral Commission.

Your thinking, again, is very bourgeois. And bourgeois values have led us to a situation where Western Europe is less nationalistic than the former Communist East.

My solution is better:

Make a distinction between the functioning and nonfunctional homeless.

To the functioning homeless offer them an easy path to employment, give them jobs rather than expecting them to try and get jobs for themselves (as most places WILL NOT hire them even if they present themselves perfectly, immigration has helped kill their chances perhaps worst of all).

We've had this done before, when the US government went out and purposefully contracted the homeless and desperate to go work on infrastructure projects and the like.

Make getting jobs easy for those on the bottom, and you'll see them elevate themselves.

As for the nonfunctional, the addicts, the crazy, the stupid, the old and crippled, and so on. These are a completely different animal to be transmuted into the functional from their current state if it is at all possible, and then you can hand them a job they could do to enrich themselves.

Homelessness says nothing about someone except that they currently lack a place to stay, or options to house themselves without getting involved in charities or government services.

Ya get me? It's a symptom of other causes, it's not the disease itself. The solution to solving homelessness is to stop trying to solve homelessness and instead focus on the life circumstances that led them to lacking housing.

you are giving people preferential treatment. Look up 'cobra effect'.
You provide guaranteed paying jobs for homeless, and you will exponentially increase in homeless population.

[ - ] AntiPostmodernist 0 points 4 daysApr 25, 2025 20:38:23 ago (+0/-0)

People constantly cycling in and out of homelessness? I've entertained that, but these wouldn't be the kind of homeless who cause trouble.

For one, rather than sleeping on the streets, theyd have money to afford to sleep in an inn or hotel, meaning they'd be well kept and making revenue. This is discounting the probability of them being housed at the place they are put to work at, depending upon the job they get.

With experience and training given them by these jobs, you'd have the means to build a career such that they'd not be the typical vagrant hobo bum.

So yes, while what you say is absolutely true, it's also a matter of the quality of these houseless men.

it amazes me the amount of resources that go into people who don't want the help. Drug addicts that want pity but have access to more help than the person they want from.

Its the first step to getting everyone into the government gates they get first seating because theyre the most useful.

[ - ] Joe_McCarthy [op] 0 points 5 daysApr 24, 2025 19:28:24 ago (+0/-0)*

There are quite a few genuinely mentally ill people out here on the streets. I dunno what is to be done but it isn't their fault whatever it is.

This is interesting:

https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2025-04-23/new-tax-money-will-soon-dwarf-the-billions-of-dollars-spent-on-homelessness-in-past-decade-whos-watching-over-it

At any rate the real nuts are not on my agenda. I just step around them. More annoying is that the white guys tend to be over 50 types that are unemployable presumably due mostly to criminal records or age discrimination. The sex offenders have it particularly tough here of course. I can relate. I am definitely a lower end sex offender, and the spooks made me do it with 'behave' in order to further push me into this whole business, but it can never be wonderful having to present yourself to an employer and explain why you got charged with a felony for a 10 year old being driven by seeing you walking down the street naked - even if these kids all watch far harder porn on the internet.

Send them to Martha's Vineyard. It's going to be busy season soon, and those people love the homeless, they just care about people so much

[ - ] Joe_McCarthy [op] 0 points 5 daysApr 24, 2025 18:04:18 ago (+1/-1)

Eh. I dunno what you people expect in the 'collapse' but it's not going to involve continuing to play XBox with plenty of cheap consumer goods. It's rarely said but such a transition mostly involves lifestyle changes.

"Do you want housing?"
"No thanks."
"Do you want housing?"
"No thanks."
"Do you want housing?"
"No thanks."
"OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!!"

If it's housing and not sleeping in a big sea of mattresses next to a hundred niggers I'm in.

But I feel curious why we are having these posts about homelessness all of a sudden.

I think this might be a kike op guys.

[ - ] Gowithit 0 points 4 daysApr 25, 2025 07:44:40 ago (+0/-0)

Op has brought up homelessness before. Not "new" but the topic is being brought up because the "get them in phase" is about to happen. You are the first ones, then it moves up in the tiers as the ones inside get more and more protections/incentives the people will begin to beg to be let in. Final is setting loose complete chaos and probably fucking dinosaurs to make the outside so impossible to deal the last holdouts the "not me's" will fall in line.

[ - ] AntiPostmodernist 0 points 4 daysApr 25, 2025 18:59:31 ago (+0/-0)

Fair.

What I'd like is for you to give me jobs, not housing, I don't need a place to stay, I need work to do. Switch the focus to that and we're good. Then I'll simply earn my way up through like three jobs at a time to simply buy a home for myself.

Lancaster mayor’s remedy for homelessness: ‘Free fentanyl’ and ‘a purge’

https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2025-04-20/lancaster-mayor-calls-for-homeless-to-get-free-fentanyl

C'mon boys. Get back into that bullshit lifestyle, work, prop up our shitty system. Do what our businessmen funders want!

Fuck that!

[ - ] mahavishnunj 0 points 5 daysApr 24, 2025 19:05:55 ago (+0/-0)

Won't fentanyl kill them though?

[ - ] xmasskull 1 point 5 daysApr 24, 2025 19:12:22 ago (+1/-0)

Kinda' the idea.

[ - ] mahavishnunj 1 point 5 daysApr 24, 2025 20:14:05 ago (+1/-0)

That's what I'm saying, I don't see the problem.
