Stupid faggot shot a treed bear. The bear was terrified in that moment and not a threat in anyway. He could have just walked back inside.
I'm guessing it was a black bear too. He was just scavenging some food. They're much more docile than brown bears and will run from just about anything.
They really only attack if they're cornered, and then they're still just trying to get away.
The guy's a goof and is looking to be made out a hero, if a bear wants to attack, especially inside close quarters, nobody's gonna have time to do shit, also, a bear's behavior dramatically changes around infants they go into a protective type of calm with small kids sensing no threat at all...but I know that people generally aren't going to know about bear behavior and are going to respond in line with the stereotype of their mental programing. And he did have every right to protect his kids...except that there was no threat.
