Suppose you were more than three days from any other source of water, and someone is insisting that he owns the only one around and you aren't allowed to drink from it. He will not negotiate and intends to stop you from drinking from it by force. Would you be justified in responding with force to get water to live? What about lethal force? What if there were three men? A dozen, but you could still kill them all if you had to?

My answer to all of the above questions is "yes", so I'm gonna go ahead and say that if rights exist, water is one of them to the extent that you need it to survive.

What's on my property is my property, especially if I have the water and mineral rights. I paid for that property and the sole function of government is secure my right to my property. And, the ability of a government to secure property rights for the property owner is a direct indication of the quality of government. And, I have that property whether or not there is a house on it, and I pay lots of fuckin' property tax to secure that asset.

You're reading into things that I never suggested. I don't believe "corporations" should be allowed to own property, and there would be an easy way to determine how much water on the property is yours, at any given time, if that water wasn't stationary on that property, ie a stream or aquifer.

People have rights. Corporations aren't people. And, I don't give one fuck about what politicians have tried to suggest. Rights come from God, the Creator (capital C, singular) mentioned in the DoI, and corporations are created by government. Corporations are allowed permissions and authorities, not rights. They should pay the people to use the resource and the people set the price.

They shouldn't be allowed to take our water and sell it to other countries without paying us massive fuckin' money for using our resources and that, even then, they should be limited on what they can use. That doesn't make access to my water a right or thar property rights aren't a thing just because you don't have your own water.
