More than likely the driver didn't release the trailer brakes and just drug the trailer. Or his brakes need adjustment. Drivers used to carry at the very least a wrench for brakes. Probably a swift transport truck.

Brakes wouldn't release. Lazy fucker. And yes I always had a wrench on hand . It's fairly common. I won't drive anymore with these Yahoo's out there.The public doesn't know how dangerous it is out there.
