Sobriety is tough. While the US is somewhere down the list of highest percentage population of men who are alcoholics - Eastern Europe and Korea have us beat - it has by far the highest percentage of female alcoholics.

I found this to be an interesting stat, and really clarified my mind about how global corps bombard women to no end in this country to get at the money they control. Make them think they need to spend everything on luxury items and "wine o'clock" while also telling them they deserve to spend every hard earned cent of theirs, their father's and their husband's.

I think about that every time i crave a drink and wholeheartedly agree - it would be the biggest regret of my life if I did.

Because drinking is good. It either numbs the pain or numbs the pain of life and then you also feel less inhibited.

The problem is if the only way you can numb your pain is to drink and it calls to you, then......you need to do some work on you.

I get it, I love to drink but if I find myself thinking about drinking as in yearning for it I better stop because it's controlling me and not me it.
