Some fled to 8chan.moe (which is struggling under the new server load). They were using an out of date php console which was hijacked with all databases downloaded and source code. To boot, all of their moderators and janitors were exposed; some down to their IP and physical addresses.

The hacker stated thus:

But it isn't entirely true. At least some password hashes have already been cracked.

It sounds like the hacker has everything and... why wouldn't you, if you were already in? It's easier and faster to copy Asterix dot Asterix than to be selective.

4chan's only official statement is that "It takes time".

But, with their whole database exposed, it is likely they will have to rebuild quite a bit.

That's understating it. It was over a decade out of date. Fuckin' unbelievable. Ok maybe slightly believable. Yeah, it was probably from a CIA diversity hire.

Yup. Copy everything then work on it while air-gapped. Got plenty of time and backup copies to work with after that.

Hacker group hacked it, leaked the source code, exposed that more than half of all posts come straight from Israel, revealed photos, names and addresses of the mods (mostly trannies, some jews, some Mossad agents), and showed that it hasn’t been updated since 2014.
