As a boy in the 80s, i loved army men toys. I always played as Germans.

Growing up i loved war films. No longer. They took that from me.

Knowing that allies were the villains, that innocent Germans got slaughtered makes me despise all war films.

Watching war films from the 40s is even worse. Full of wartime propaganda whipping normies to hate their brothers enough to justify burning women and children alive.
