It's hard to tell if he is actually based and slowly letting out more and more of his beliefs, or if he is just playing a character of a based millennial for laughs. Comedians are in a unique spot where they can share controversial opinions and, when called out, can blame it on a character or a joke. Kind of how Stephen Colbert, Bill Burr, Jimmy Kimmel, etc. do when they get called out for some crazy communist comments.
