What I thought was a shard of chicken bone lodged in my gum was in fact a sharp strand of cartilage. The swelling got so bad and painful this morning it was "nerve" racking...BUT...it was due to the body's reaction to a foreign object. When the swelling blew out the strand protruded through the skin and I was able to yank it with tweezers.

I'm glad to inform everyone that I am back to my kind hearted self. To all who wished me a protracted period of misery and agony, I forgive you...BUT...the second time around, "Rome will not be as merciful"....my fellow OPs, we can argue in peace.

NOTE...@PostWallHelena has been proscribed, it is the duty of all Special Ed OPs to sully her status with multi syllable words of slanderous repute...just don't throw her into the arena yet, the bellies of the beasts are still full from the feast of Janus.

I couldn't get into the dentist until Tuesday or Wednesday, but yeah I went through it and it was a rough 3days, but it pushed out, oh, that piece of cartilage was like a sharp strand of plastic.

Dental pain is probably THE worst sort. I had oral surgery for two last week, and still know it. The age of painless dentists has been replaced by the John Wayne School of PainFUL Dentistry.

Congrats Zyklon. I can imagine how satisfying it felt to rip that faggot piece of cartilage out of there.

I once watched a buddy who couldn't afford a dentist rip his own fucking molar out. It had somehow cracked and split in half and he pulled it out in two pieces. No anesthesia other than the beer we had been drinking all night. He swished some peroxide around in there after for some reason and apparently that was fine since he's still alive to this day.

Thnx @Volf ...that's common with a lot of the old tougher guys but it's the pain that drives one to self mutilation, fuck, my babba from Russia would set broken bones in my mother's family, unfortunately though for one of uncles he's got an angular wrist...and no cast, a straight stick splinted to the fracture with and an old worn shirt torn into strips...I remember an old Croatian guy, 80years or so, buried an axe into his shin, it wasn't pretty, he rested for 2 weeks while his wife nursed him and the neighbors chipped in to help with his chores, that's the true meaning of NATIONAL SOCIALISM, a safety net and not a hammock, but that old guy toughed it out, but fucking poor guy fell apart when his wife died...that's a different kind of strength that's needed...nobody will know how strong they are until faced with the inevitable.
