LOL; as someone who is considered "big" and "tall", I know it's all relative.

I also know that most "big" guys are actually pussies when they come up against a smaller opponent who isn't intimidated. In the old, pre-fag days, small guys typically got picked on and were in a lot of fights in contrast to big guys who got by on intimidation. Hence, the small guys got experience and developed effective fighting techniques.

I once saw a small guy kick the living shit out of an ex-US Marine guy I knew in a bar fight. When finished the small guy went nonchalantly back to the bar to sip his drink and watch TV. It took awhile for the Marine to get off the floor, swallow his pride, and buy the guy a drink. I had a good laugh — all in a day's fun.

When I studied martial arts I had a Sensei who liked to use me for demonstration purposes because of my stature. I thought it was because he thought I was motivated and the best student (pride commeth before the fall). One day another student asked why he always picked me for demonstrations? The Sensei said it was to show the students that the methods taught were effective against a larger opponent. And then he made the comment that larger opponents typically don't know how to fight because they never had to. (Echoing what I wrote above.)

Not simping, but I've learned to respect guys smaller than me if I have no reason not to respect them. I had the fortune of a lifetime of not getting deluded into thinking my size/shape makes me invincible. Eventually everybody gets brought down to size one way or another.
