Crowley is a fool. I've read many of his works. People who think they are smart will follow his works because his puzzles are complex, but when you pull back, you can see that it's all based on jewish quabballah and flat earth theory.

What he avers here is interesting though. And a broader point he makes: that science and magic were once more complimentary than antagonistic is probably more true than not. You see a lot of this if you study the history of alchemy. Jung was an alchemy enthusiast.

But he didn't actually practice this. Instead, he would twist scientific findings into his "magic" to lure low iq followers into his fold. Again, he preached a "magic" that was based on flat earth theory knowing damn well that it's a flawed theory. He was a grifter, knowingly a grifter. A deceiver. And by his own defining, a "fool".

Most notably, his "magic" was steeped in jewish quabbalah. The abject synagog of satan. He was a devout goy even if it was unintentional.

I think it can be said that Crowley probably did think he communicated with spirits and was capable of performing 'magick'.

But that's not a conversation I have a lot of time for atm. Gotta sign off.

He thought he was communicating with spirits as much as he believed the earth was flat.
