My brother, a computer scientist loathes AI. He's very intelligent, and I can tell it makes him feel dirty. I've gotten him to understand that it's just a fancy hammer, and that you are now the manager of a team of engineers in whatever field you want to create in. Especially coding. AI is great at coding because it has access to almost all code that has ever been put online. Coders have been using substack and git hub to copy/paste code for a decade. AI now does the leg work for you in that regard, and then allows customization of that code it finds, being able to cross reference its code base.
The issue is 90% or more of the population lacks the entrepreneur spirit, throughout history that hasn't been what was needed, ever. We needed manual labor for a vast majority of work that was needed to perpetuate a society.
So basically our best and brightest have now invented us to a level our genetics as a species can't keep up with.
I get now why the overlords want to decimate the populations. They're literally worthless eaters. 75% or more of the population doesn't possess the inherent genetic traits to navigate this new dawn.

Sad fact that I try to educate people about, but they think they are entitled to be essentially useless, and that it isn't "right" for the overlords to exterminate them. I simply respond with: "That's the way the Universe is designed." No wishing or emotional outbursts are going to change that fact.
