Inbound shipping takes about 3 weeks so what I'm hearing is store shelves will start getting empty after about 3 weeks when the resupply stops

Haha, they're just saying that and they'll raise up prices anyway.

china now tries to be good friends with the EU, to compensate the losses with the usa. I wonder what our cucks are going to do, listen to their boss in washington or settle for less.

Seriously, name one thing any of us want from China.

I want the beef market to be fixed. I want cheap grass fed beef to be dirt cheap and farmed in every county in this dang country.

Oh no, the one dollar plastic garbage from China is going to cost two dollars. Oh well.

SILK BEDSHEETS: Here the cheapest king size start out at $120 and soar to $240. AliExpress: $75!
SLIPPERSOCKS: Here the cheapest are $5, and not that comfortable. AliExpress: 99cent, and very nice!
WOODLOCK LINIMENT: Here it starts out at $22. AliExpess: $17!

Basically most of the stuff sold on eBay, Amazon, Wish, Etsy, etc., are the same items sold at AliExpress, Temu, DHgate, etc., with a goodly markup. Eliminate the middleman. I got a chinese style chef knife (looks like a meat cleaver) five years ago, and have no doubt it will outlive me...and outlive whoever owns it next!

The wholesale price of the Chinese products a business is selling is only one factor when determining the price customers pay at the retail level. If that wholesale price doubles due to tarrifs, that probably doesn't directly translate to double the price to the consumer.
