No kidding. I’m so sick of all the false flag companies. Patriot this, veteran that. American this, and even more patriot shit.

If you look at them, they're mostly kike owned, like BRCC

You can still get a washer and dryer that will last a really long time, Speedqueen is what you want you'll just end up paying more for it.

I owned an appliance repair company until I retired. Hotpoint in the Americas are sold by GE Appliances. In Europe, they are sold by Whirlpool, GE's long time competitor.

Hotpoint machines were, WERE, built to last. All brands were built to last back when they were made in America. Despite words to the contrary by @texasblood, those were truly the good old days for appliances. As for me as a long running repairman, Whirlpool basic machines are the best except for the stoves by GE (basic models only).

Save money two ways: Buy low end machines. Cost much less and have fewer parts that break, needing expensive repairs. I made a living replacing high end machine computers and displays. Don't make that mistake.

In my home, machines will outlast me with no repairs. Get the good stuff!

Yep. I always go for a good brand machine but the basic model. I do this for the reason you described. They are good machines but have fewer things to break down.

Same goes for cars. A 2002 Honda > a 2020 and higher chevy

Back when 'Made in America' meant 'Made by White people'.

We used to build things to last. Now we build things to sell.

If they don't last, what's the point?

Answered his own question.

Walmart in 1994 used to proudly hang 'Made in USA' signs in their store
