Major fucking clearing house coming up here in Icemonkey land. Got a lot of shit gonna get tossed out

Fucking warehouse full of displays and seasonal shit that has to go. Rent on that shop space isn’t going down. Gotta look at the value of the junk in it v.s. the price per foot. Also have a storage unit full of shelving crap that needs to go. That space is $130 a mont as opposed to the shop that is $1350. (13/50, kek)
I need the space more than I need the money. At any given time there is 250k worth of inventory between those two spots. I just need the fucking junk out of my way. A lot of this stuff the wife has been wanting to keep and I have now begun removing and destroying bits and pieces of it while telling her after the fact that I did so. Her reactions thus far have been as expected; nothing.
Feels good to get this shit moving.

My mom has her garage full of shit like pottery and other shit that hasn't been used in years. I doubt more than $2000 of shit.

And she parks her $50k SUV outside.

Meanwhile, my garage has tools, shelves, a workbench, and various chemicals. And I can fit two cars inside.

As I jog around the neighborhood I see other people do the same shit. Garage full of junk. Cars parked outside.

People from the north have basements full of junk then realize most houses in the south don’t have basements. We have the same issue but got rid of our shit years ago and park a car in the garage.

Just cleared out the garage the other month. Took everything out, cleaned everything, tossed a bunch of shit(no 'saving until later'), removed stupidly-placed hanging nails, put up hooks, holders, etc, and a big cabinet in there.

Feels good man.
