What did Trump mean by "again?"

Donald Trump said "‘They will never sink our ships again!’" but he also claims they never sank any of our ships. I checked on the web, and it says the Houthis never sank any US ships.

So what did he mean by "again?"

I think he means a merchant vessel, weren't multiple merchant vessels damaged so badly they were no longer seaworthy?
