That’s a strong allegation. You need to separate the current ugliness with the original beauty. Modern art is predominantly a jewish reflection and movement. Whereas, impressionism is a reflection of a European mind that was pushing boundaries and creating the beauty as conceived rather than straightforward as is. It doesn’t just show the appreciation of beauty but also the innovation that only a European mind could think of.

You are probably thinking of later impressionist works that may have birthed abstraction and modern art. I’m strictly talking about 19th century early artists, not 20th century evolution. It has the power to reach your inner self like Bach does. Don’t tell me you are not moved when looking at a Monet or a Renoir or a Pissaro! There are more to name whose works are magical. Heck, even Van Gogh who was actually post-impressionism created amazing art
