I won't connect my dishwasher to your stupid cloud

Incoming ... "You have been banned from having washed dishes because your political views go against our community terms of service"

Also, this kind of thing could be easily solved by just washing dishes, or having your kids wash them, or just talking nicer to your wife ... and he could have saved $1000. We use our dishwasher for canning jar storage. You can't have enough canning jars ...

He should have returned it immediately. How are manufacturers going to learn if you buy and keep this crap?

[ - ] uvulectomy 6 points 2 monthsApr 3, 2025 19:08:56 ago (+6/-0)

Bosch is fucking retarded for building the device in such a manner.

But buying a device, getting it delivered, and then going through the entire installation without ONCE looking through the literature to see if there are any stupid features? That's on him for being fucking lazy.

Uninformed buyer is passing the blame like a baby.

Suck-it-up,send the junk back, take the loss.

Must be nice to have the income level where you don't feel the need to research a thousand dollar purchase before pulling the trigger, and can just do it on a whim because "washing dishes by hand is a chore." Motherfucker's got 3 kids and a wife. Assembly-line that shit.

Bet he's one of those "eat the rich" types, too.

Nobody saw the, "you need a smartphone and Internet connection for rinse mode" coming.

[ - ] namefagsrgay 1 point 2 monthsApr 5, 2025 13:59:50 ago (+1/-0)

He should have got his wife to try setting it up.

[ - ] Trope 3 points 2 monthsApr 3, 2025 21:39:27 ago (+3/-0)

I just wash my dishes by hand. It’s quick and easy. Allows me to quickly wipe down the counters and stove.

I’ve got this fancy hypoallergenic dish soap so it doesn’t dry out your shit and make you gay.

I bought my dishwasher for $200 on facebook marketplace.

[ - ] Dingo [op] 0 points 2 monthsApr 4, 2025 13:45:12 ago (+0/-0)

Congratulations on missing the point entirely.

[ - ] Kozel 0 points 2 monthsApr 4, 2025 13:50:17 ago (+0/-0)

how did I miss the point by buying a $200 dishwasher that doesnt have wifi?

[ - ] Dingo [op] 0 points 2 monthsApr 4, 2025 13:59:28 ago (+0/-0)

The point is, "needing" a mechanical dishwasher will eventually land you inside of a surviellance prison.

[ - ] Kozel 0 points 2 monthsApr 4, 2025 14:08:25 ago (+0/-0)

I don't see that conclusion.

There will remain options that don't have wifi.

And if not (unlikely), there will be bypass wrappers to spoof the online shit with a home server.

[ - ] Dingo [op] 0 points 2 monthsApr 4, 2025 14:12:36 ago (+0/-0)

How come you can't get your wife and children to help wash the dishes though? It sounds like you wasted $200.

[ - ] Lost_In_The_Thinking 2 points 2 monthsApr 3, 2025 18:09:40 ago (+2/-0)

Dishwashers are the most useless large appliances you can buy. Just do what people have been doing for literally thousands of years and wash your own fucking dishes. They DON'T need to be sterilized. They just need to be clean.

[ - ] Gowithit 1 point 2 monthsApr 4, 2025 06:52:26 ago (+1/-0)

Never understood it. 1 dish 1 salad plate 1 bowl 1 cup per person, done. You shouldn't have enough dishes out to pile up throughout the day in order to even need a dishwasher.

[ - ] Lost_In_The_Thinking 0 points 2 monthsApr 4, 2025 06:57:07 ago (+0/-0)

Agreed. That, and whatever the food was prepared in. If you don't have 10 minutes to wash and put away your dishes, you're a slob. If you need to sterilize your dishes, buy an autoclave, they're smaller. Only restaurants need an automated dishwasher.

[ - ] Kozel 0 points 2 monthsApr 4, 2025 14:16:53 ago (+0/-0)

I make food, I eat, I place the plate into the dishwasher. This takes 5 seconds. About once a week my dishwasher fills up. I press the wash button. When its done, I let it air dry. Then as something is cooking I unload the dishwasher (1-2 minutes). Then at some point before the next wash I rinse the filter (<1 minute) and ensure the arms are not clogged (1-2 minutes).

All in all, I spend less than 5 minutes on dishes per week. Not only is my time investment minimal, I also spend less water, less gas to heat the water, and less soap.

As result my time investment and effort is minimal, I don't need any drying racks and have increased counter space, my sink is always empty and ready to be utilized, and I'm saving on utility bills.

Anything in the world to avoid washing your hands.

I don't mind water and use it at will because it's there.

[ - ] TheOriginal1Icemonkey 2 points 2 monthsApr 3, 2025 18:00:12 ago (+2/-0)

Bullshit.
I just three weeks ago bought a Bosch model 800 dishwasher. It was $1600 delivered.
There’s no app needed.
This goy is a faggot.

[ - ] Dingo [op] 3 points 2 monthsApr 3, 2025 18:14:18 ago (+3/-0)

This goy is a faggot.

I think he might be a yid ... close enough I guess. :)

[ - ] observation1 3 points 2 monthsApr 3, 2025 20:13:40 ago (+3/-0)

He's saying you only get 2 of the wash cycles without the app but if you hook it to the internet then you get all the different cycles.

[ - ] TheOriginal1Icemonkey 0 points 2 monthsApr 3, 2025 21:24:36 ago (+0/-0)

Well, mine doesn’t do that or need any app to do that. I bought mine from an appliance store, not a Home Depot.

[ - ] observation1 3 points 2 monthsApr 3, 2025 22:06:17 ago (+3/-0)

Maybe you got the upgraded version that doesn't require surveillance .

yep. I bought a new Whirlpool and no jew shit in it.

⚡️⚡️

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer2 1 point 2 monthsApr 3, 2025 21:27:25 ago (+1/-0)

Was thinking of getting a Bosch 300 dishwasher to replace the countertop one I got in Japan...fuck... 25 years ago.

I think this guy just doesn't know how to use physical stuff, being a jewish faggot and all.

Even if it did have an app required 'feature', I'd just hack the fuckin' thing. Then release the method out into the wild.

[ - ] TheOriginal1Icemonkey 1 point 2 monthsApr 3, 2025 21:28:43 ago (+1/-0)

Don’t go 300. Go 800. 800 best Bosch

[ - ] PotatoWhisperer2 1 point 2 monthsApr 3, 2025 21:29:45 ago (+1/-0)

Money is a factor here. A big one. I'll still have to save for a loooong time. So I'll have a year or two to make sure I want a particular model.

[ - ] TheOriginal1Icemonkey 1 point 2 monthsApr 4, 2025 05:44:14 ago (+1/-0)

I had really no choice. After my massive high end kitchen remodel two years ago, the brand new Fulgor Milano dishwasher quit after two months. I went 18 months with no dishwasher because I was so pissed off. It couldn’t be fixed and I didn’t want another one from that dealer. I went to another dealer and got the Bosch because it needed to match the other stuff in the kitchen. Believe me, I like simple stuff. This thing is absolutely silent though, which is nice.

[ - ] bohmoonx 1 point 2 monthsApr 3, 2025 22:53:08 ago (+1/-0)

Or you can use paper plates.

[ - ] mikenigger 1 point 2 monthsApr 3, 2025 21:45:54 ago (+1/-0)

Also, this kind of thing could be easily solved by just washing dishes

you could also save electricity by washing clothes by hand, save on fuel by riding horses... 🙄

[ - ] drstrangergov 1 point 2 monthsApr 3, 2025 21:34:49 ago (+1/-0)

thank God, they're beginning to understand. he thinks its a conspiracy theory though. ah, well. baby steps.

[ - ] Looneyskiprooney 1 point 2 monthsApr 3, 2025 20:39:07 ago (+1/-0)

Right back to where I bought it. Fuck that shit. Fuckin vacuum wants to hook up . Not happening.

[ - ] Swej_Ehtsag 0 points 2 monthsApr 4, 2025 08:42:57 ago (+0/-0)

My cheap 2015 vehicle has remote start.

My expensive 2024 vehicle requires a $15/month subscription, which I'll never pay, in order to start it remotely.

[ - ] Leveraction 0 points 2 monthsApr 3, 2025 23:56:58 ago (+0/-0)

Give me a dishwasher made in the 60's. Ya turn it on, and it washes, period!!
I don't need and don't want anything extra.

[ - ] puremadness 0 points 2 monthsApr 3, 2025 20:47:25 ago (+0/-0)

Heres one way you can stop this shit.

Connect AS the machine, but not WITH the machine.
and connect alot. very fast.

[ - ] GlowNiggerDick 0 points 2 monthsApr 3, 2025 20:35:53 ago (+0/-0)

I love my dad. But having him help me install a dishwasher sounds like a nightmare.

[ - ] Special_Prosecutor 0 points 2 monthsApr 3, 2025 19:55:35 ago (+0/-0)

when my washer started having "power" problems, opened it up and swapped in a new control board.

no more power problems.
