We'll find out.
My Steam deck was only able to play about 1/4 the way through Tears of the Kingdom before it choked on compiled shaders.
Supposedly it can play all the way through if you are autistic about optimizing settings.

So, I'll probably have to wait until Steam Deck 2 to play Switch 2 games.
