Old Man Type Sneeze Attacks (Anyone Else?)

submitted by Scyber to whatever 2 monthsMar 31, 2025 18:41:48 ago (+6/-0)     (whatever)

I'm not even 40 years old and I've been getting seriously strong sneeze attacks lately. I know it's currently pollen season & I have mild allergies but it seems like my allergies are getting more intense as I age - Which brings up the strength of my current sneezes because they're really strong and almost leave me out of breath for a few seconds.
I have attacks - sometimes up to 20+ sneezes within a 15 minute time frame.
Just wanted to know if anyone else has similar issues or any tips on how to reduce allergies.

Just try not to fart when you sneeze like those fat bitches do.

Dude's almost 40. He should never gamble on a sneeze fart.

My son used to sneeze 10 to 15 times in a row. I suspect it was related to his avoidance of hot peppers.

Snort a couple rails of Carolina Reaper powder and see if that helps.

They have been spraying you with chemtrails for the last 10 years.

The sneezing will continue until the S.A.M.S are purchased.

Get a diffuser. Put distilled water in it. Add 3 capfuls of 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide. Breathe it in for a few minutes and blow your nose (you will have to). I do this whenever I feel allergies or sickness coming on. It will be gone in minutes. Repeat as needed.

same, it gets worse with age. My area is blanketed with thick yellow pollen. After the fourth sneeze I usually scream WHAT DA FUUUUUUUCK.

I finished a book a couple years ago on vitamin D. The author experimented with very large doses. As high as 25K IU daily. I have my doubts on the storage form of vitamin D supplementation and will stick to sunlight and a UVB lamp.

Having said that, he specifically mentioned a deficiency could cause allergies. Are you supplementing or getting plenty of UV exposure? As we get older, it’s very easy to see less and less sunshine. Especially after a long winter.

Since we’re here, are you deficient of other minerals? Almost 40 means your ferritin levels should be 3 times as high as when you were 18. Have an iron panel done and make note if you’d benefit from blood donation or phlebotomy.
