I don't see there is a very active stop drinking subverse (I might be missing something so happy to be corrected). I have struggled with drinking over the years, and have tried various meetings, finding most of them cucked and filled with the worst kinds of degenerates. I've been on a good streak though and could still use a forum for sharing ideas. Do you think there would be enough interest in this for a subverse here or nah?
All those "I quit drinking alcohol" posts late last year got me to thinking a large reduction in beer consumption was probably a good idea. I'm not giving up alcohol or quitting, but have been down to a bottle of wine or two per month for the past few months.
Technique: Started with breaking the beer habit by buying a large bottle of whiskey and one of gin. Replaced the beer with those for a month or two. Then just didn't replace them when they were empty. ...
Might have a couple beers when I go to see Foundring at the brewery for his once per month gig. The habit itself no longer exists, and it's been almost a month since my last two beers.
If you want to reduce or quit, all you have to do is do it.
Answer edit: The only valid point of a "stop drinking" (alcohol) sub would be to remind people that all you have to do is stop drinking alcohol. If you want to you do. If you don't want to you don't. Trying to convince people to stop doing something they want to do is a waste of time. An occasional reminder post would be a good idea though.
Yea the people at meetings definitely don’t enjoy hearing about how jews have destroyed our culture through mass glorification of the very degenerate behavior that put them there.
Just remember that God gave us all a certain amount of booze we can consume in our lifetimes - and that you have used all, if not most, of that up.
AA etc drive people to keep drinkin. They have like a 5% success rate. The only way to quit or at least slow way the fuck down is to get ANGRY, and stay angry, about bein a drunk. You must be SICK of it. That's what happened to me. Nowadays I have 1-3 beers a month, if that. I used to be as bad as anyone you ever knew. I got SICK of it, and now find drunkeness and being high to be disgusting and niggerish. Waking up sober is my addiction. It's a rush every morning.
