Dude I used to know just OD'd on fent.

submitted by PeckerwoodPerry to whatever 1 monthMar 29, 2025 23:33:46 ago (+25/-0)     (whatever)

Heard about it tonight, fat fucker I never really cared for. I used to work with him, and we were scheduled to go out of town and vend at a small festival. We were supposed to meet up to organize the day before and fucker showed up unapologetically 3 hours late, so I told him he needed to get his shit together. This doughy, chinless fuck raised his voice, put his finger in my face, and shouted at me that I needed to respect him. I squared up an bowed up, told that fuck that he needed to earn my respect. This was in a crowded bar, full of his buddies and regular customers. I was ready to throw down, even though he had at least 50lbs on me. I ended up just laughing in his face and walking away. Did the project by myself, but while I was out of town doing that he checked in to rehab for heroin. So yeah, no surprise tonight when I learned he's worm food. Fuckin degenerates, man. He did other questionable shit outside being a junkie. Like I said, I never liked the fuck. Oh well, sucks to be you Justin. Should have payed closer attention in rehab. At least he finally took some weight off.

I was helping a homeless guy I met doing a veterans charity.

Air Force Security Afghanistan.

I bought him a sleeping bag, blanket and tarp.

Gave him $30 out of my pocket. 2 weeks later a homeless person that knew him told me he OD'd on fent.

He's still alive. The VA took him and put him in a 30 day lock down program.

I could have looked him up there but I was pissed at the guy.

Most homeless people are homeless by choice. They prey on empathy and sympathy from good-natured people. That's why so many pretend to be veterans- it is a quick way to earn the trust, respect, and sympathy of people.

There are some homeless veterans. But not many. The homeless fall into pretty much two categories: completely fucking crazy (I feel bad for these people, we should be helping them by putting them in safe asylums), and useless piece of shit who burned every bridge they ever had in life. Most people have friends or family that they could depend on of some really shitty scenario unfolded and you lost your job and house and whatever.

But the homeless probably stole and lied to the people in their lives so much, that nobody wants to deal with their shit anymore. They've tried to help them, but they just spit in their face every time, spending the money they're given so generously on booze or drugs. There are so many programs and avenues for the homeless in USA to pull their shit together, but they're more comfortable in a gutter than having to put any effort into anything.

I hate this shit. I always quiz the fucks I suspect of stolen Valor about their rank, base and job they carried out.

When they start tripping over their words or "forget" which base they were at I call bullshit.

You never forget any of that.

Fuckin cocksuckin faggot assholes.

I was a bouncer for 20 years and people in the lte 90’s would always try to give me a fake military ID and 85-90% of stolen valor fucks can be shut down with the simple question of “What’s your MOS?” Even Marines and Air Force will understand and say that they don’t call it an MOS, but then proceed to tell you what their job is/was.

The homeless come in all kinds. Lots of mentally ill. I've been told up to 40%. But I suspect much of that is just mistaken drug addiction. The stereotype is basically three sorts or a combo - criminals that can't get a job or housing, drug addicts, or crazy. Some are just old a/o disabled and can't work.

Even the worst of them are better than the housed though usually. The housed work more, and thus prop up the system, pay more taxes, and thus prop up the system, and are less likely to be on relief, so don't bleed the system as much. Transients also leave less of a carbon footprint so are doing less to destroy the environment.

Just like you, OP's make-believe stories are getting more and more sad to observe over time.

It's clear when anti-social, probably single and very lonely guys, frame their fantasy experiences to the rest of us.

Bro, your magical invisible sky wizard that hates you doesn't exist. Call it whatever you want it's still a fantasy you project on others for no good reason.

Horrible. It's such a scourge. I go back to the little Midwest
town I grew up in and the ads for bike shops and family restaurants have been replaced by ads for drug rehab and hospice.

The guy I knew that died from Fentanyl was found with two spent narco Injections. Dude was an intelligent mechanical engineer but chose a life of heroin. Likely knew it was fentanyl.

I won’t touch illegal drugs because of this pervasive threat.

[ - ] PeckerwoodPerry [op] 7 points 1 monthMar 29, 2025 23:47:50 ago (+7/-0)

Yeah, I don't judge people for struggling with addiction. I've had my own problems with opiates and alcohol. I do judge people based on other shit though, dude went to rehab like 4 times. His family has a ton of money, he never needed to work hard for anything. Probably why he couldn't stop with the drugs though, it's not something that can just be handed to you. It's work, and it's work that you don't see progress from immediately.

[ - ] NoRefunds 3 points 1 monthMar 30, 2025 04:47:53 ago (+3/-0)

You should also stay away from like 99% of legal drugs as well.

Sound advice. Will heed.

[ - ] BloodyComet 3 points 1 monthMar 30, 2025 10:31:46 ago (+3/-0)

Sounds like he saved himself from OD twice, but naloxone wears off a lot quicker than most opiates. That's why you're supposed to be in a hospital after an OD, because if the naloxone wears off while there's still a toxic amount of an opiate in your system, you'll go right back into your OD. You may need several doses of Narcan, and it's going to be painful if you're an addict.

[ - ] Crackinjokes 1 point 1 monthMar 30, 2025 09:54:22 ago (+1/-0)

It's interesting when a very smart person decides life as it is isn't that great and consciously chooses that opioid trips are better and worth the risk.

As you get older and learn how the world really is that decision becomes more logical.

Now when young it's stupid to risk your whole life.

But as older....

[ - ] BloodyComet 2 points 1 monthMar 30, 2025 10:33:54 ago (+2/-0)

Smart people tend to be more neurotic, because we think a lot, perhaps too much. This leads to worrying about shit that's out of your control. Some turn to substances to sort of slow that shit down... that's how it was for me.

Ignorant, retarded people don't become sad or overwhelmed with worry for the future, because they live in bliss. There are a lot of examples of very intelligent, talented people getting hooked on drugs, and I suspect this is a large contributing factor. It's nice to have a shot of dope that suddenly makes you not give a fuck about ANYTHING for a little while.

Now you understand how we ended up in this timeline. Most people are borderline fucktarded.

I believe alcohol has long been a tool of the establishment to keep people from taking action. Fat, drunk, and ignorant- the perfect slave. Just physically capable enough to work to pay taxes until they die from an obesity related disease.

Bonus- all of the conditions they develop due to years of consuming various poisons will lead to a dependence on ineffective medical treatments which put enormous wads of cash into the medical industry. That's why everything is tied together, it's not just the "military-industrial complex", it's "military-industrial-medical-etc.".

I knew a professional MMA fighter who I will not name that died about 10 years ago and he got addicted to dope real bad. In just 6 or 7 months, he went from this big, strong juicehead to this chubby, stinky beaten-down man who was out on the streets doing shameful shit. He died pretty quickly because he wasn't really a street guy and he got into dope in his mid 30's. I heard they found him with a needle in his neck.

[ - ] Clubberlang 1 point 1 monthMar 30, 2025 11:25:25 ago (+1/-0)

Was he calling out basement yids?

Sounds like they got one of the protected species to do their dirty work again.

Some have to choose between drugs and food and are always walking. The difference is usually money.

I wish they would load all coke, illegal pain pills and heroin with fent. Its one way to take out the trash. I know loads of people who are dead from drugs, some were good but they fuckin knew better.

"Respect". The only ones that talk about respect is niggers. You a nigger? Stop acting like it.

[ - ] PeckerwoodPerry [op] 6 points 1 monthMar 30, 2025 00:48:42 ago (+8/-2)

Your reading comprehension a little stunted? I was telling a story about someone demanding me respect them. What would be your response?

[ - ] RMGoetbbels -1 points 1 monthMar 30, 2025 09:28:43 ago (+1/-2)

I came to apologize if warranted but I reread it again to be sure-

This doughy, chinless fuck raised his voice, put his finger in my face, and shouted at me that I needed to respect him. I squared up an bowed up, told that fuck that he needed to earn my respect.

This was a two way conversation about who reespektin' who mayne! It's a nigger conversation. << That would be my response, I'd tell him niggers demand "respect" but what they really mean is FEAR.

Respect is admiration, or recognizing another's ability and trying to achieve the same. What you and he are talking about is NOT respect. It's being a nigger.
