It very well probably did. It's been 20yrs since I last saw the damn thing. Still have some rolls of Radio Shack-branded solder. That stuff was good and I hesistate to use it for sentimental reasons. Wasn't there a thread a few months ago about an electrician feeling nostalgic and sad after finishing a decades-old spool of wire? More or less that.

I remember, when I was 10, my dad gave me the soldering iron just to learn what "don't touch it, it's hot" meant.

The blister sucked, but I know what that means now.

My dad taught me how to solder when I was 9. I only did that once with a hot iron and I learned from that lesson how to hold it properly.
