I always wondered how they could afford it when I was younger till I realized they get all their housing and food for free.

Well you answered most of your wondering. Whites are expected to facilitate niggers. They've come to just expect it. They don't care who pays so long as they get what they think is their stuff know what I'm sayin? I'd say sometime in the 50s and 60s especially after that rat LBJ got power.

My brother is now disabled. He goes to a food bank. I had to tell him to cut it out for awhile because his pantry is overflowing with food. He said, "If I stop taking the food, they might ban me." sigh, but I got him to finally agree.

And therein lies the rub.

Here's how I see it - SSI is a bank, and the balance is built up by paying in while working, to be used when out of work for whatever reason - ie, a "social safety net" for people during a short duration hard time.

Can anyone go into a bank and ask for money? Their deposits have to be at that bank. I might be in the minority, but I think of SSI as the exact same thing. Nobody that hasn't paid in should get anything from SSI or medicare/medicaid etc. Even NHS should be restricted to taxpayers.

So, what happens with these empathy cases? How about the rest of the locals picking up the slack? Yeah, people don't see it like that anymore.

In the US, social security was only started in the 1930s - when the unemployment rate was over 30%. What happened before then? Families would take care of their own needs.

But of course, up until the 1930s, there was plenty of land available for people, and the ever expanding agricultural market allowed for plenty of places to work, if there was a mind to - like in the "Grapes of Wrath" by John Steinbeck.

With over 90% of the population in developed countries now being urbanites, the ability to find work is way harder, and it takes 2 incomes to support a family now without any major setbacks.

My cold black heart says that anyone that can't work shouldn't eat off the government's dime, and that's probably also a minority viewpoint. But continuing to feed the animals, no matter what country it is, only leads to more animals that need feeding. There has to be a stopping point somewhere.

I'm sure this would lead to many philosophical discussions on "every life is important" and "quality of life" etc, but anyone that can't work should be taken care of locally - family, friends, local charities, etc.

Basically, it is the job of government to pay for government - not anything else. No disaster relief, no welfare, no housing, etc. I would guess in the US that would be defined as government salaries, defense, roads, etc. But not any of the welfares. And with SSI and medicare being taken out in taxes as "bank" deposit, only the people that pay in can take it out.
