I hear ya. If it was like it was back then I'd get on a plane today to go visit. So much cool stuff to see and the rural towns were like something out of a fantasy. The locals absolutely loved Americans visiting too. They were genuinely so happy and appreciative we came to see them lol. Trading cultures like what they call this vs what we call it. Wasn't hard for my folks to get a free pint either. We all talk shit but it's genuinely sad whats happened to them.
