I would also recommend joining local clubs that interest you, you may even run into one of us there since we tend to have similar interests.
For a Voat meetup specifically it requires a little bit of doing, you can't just post a time and a place and expect everything to go well. Voat has a large volume of degenerates and deranged leftests/shills/feds that lurk here. While I doubt they'll be so brazen as to try to rope us into a crime, I have no doubts they will try to disrupt such a gathering using their typical methods (screaming their heads off and being obnoxious). There's also a off chance risk they'll try to get violent, it won't work because we would all be armed, but it's best to avoid that possibility all together.
Considering this you would need to rent a location with the explicit intention that it would be for a free speech group. Both to ensure you have the legal authority to kick out the freaks, and ensure there's no chance a crazy antifa type gets turned in swiss cheese which would ruin our attempts to get together.
You could recoup your losses with an entrance fee.
Longer term you could turn it into a more regular thing as a mutual beneficiary corporation, i.e. your typical club.
