I can understand, but cannot comprehend how Hollywood works. They basically didn't care about their biggest sponsor being exposed, and allowed free speech. Now they boycott movies just because made by normal people about normal people. Jews have no logic. Their actions are driven by madness.

Smoking was promoted by hollywood and wall street for a long time after the dangers were discovered. The tide turned on big tobacco sometime around the late 80s early 90s. Well before Thank You for Smoking was produced. So they weren’t really bucking any trends but following them. I think there might have been some big class action lawsuits against big tobacco around that time. The trial lawyers are also a large special interest that might have provided funding for certain movies. There are financial incentive in the other direction too.

You don't get the point. Before this movie, Hollywood made only movies about people suing Big Tobacco. They were boring court room movies. This is satire really exposing that Big Tobacco lobby is owned by pieces of shit who don't care about killing people, with Hollywood helping them doing it.

Agree. The movie is scary because the actor looks like an awesome guy. When you understand his character is a POS, you really feel cognitive dissonance. It's like when you see a girl who looks virgin and innocent, and later discover she is a STD riddled slut.
