Anyone else raised by commie parents?

submitted by Storefront to whatever 1 monthMar 25, 2025 15:16:11 ago (+25/-0)     (whatever)

I'm old now, but find this still is hard to get over. All the Neil Degrasse Tyson hate brought it up. My family (very whirr, very rural,Midwest) fucking loved that guy. I just never questioned it. Like, they adored him and wouldn't stfu about the brilliant stuff he would supposedly say. Being raised by commie parents is so unbelievably painful. They loved everyone and everything accept their own. They'd rather have raised 20 multicolored refugees than their own white children.

Nope. My parents are Republican christ-cucks, which is basically just a different flavor of retarded. America is like the Baskin-Robbins of retards. 31 flavors of stupid.

Quasi-Hippie Biker Boomers from Texas.

Life is weird.

Bullshit you are "old". That fucker wasn't even heard of until I was in my maybe late 30's. Yeah I'm over 50 now. IF you are as old as me then yeah some nigger spewing jew propaganda might have been found on some weirdo TV I never heard of, beyond that the worst we had was Leonard Nimoy about the new ice age. After that I was old enough to read and find real news and not be scammed.

Mom hated the smell of niggers, Step-dad a union guy, but Christian conservative and didn't like the union pushing dems.

When my mom & dad would take us shopping several towns over, we would sit in the parking lot and when he seen niggers he would start pointing and laughing and saying "look! There's some jigaboos".

My parents visited the USSR in 1973 at the same time as Bernie Sanders. Does that count?

My dad still says, “shines” and my mom loves the word “faggot” 😂 They’re pretty cool, but unfortunately my mom pushed the feminist crap on me because she was resentful of my dad. They got married when they were dramatic teenagers and never grew out of their bickering and partying. They drive me nuts but I love them dearly.

My parents are extremely conservative, race aware and anti LGBTHIV. Unfortunately they are also extreme Christian fundamentalists that would die for Israel and shake in fear if you dare criticize the chosen.

When television started, jews were the ones that saw the power of it first. It was an opportunity to brainwash people. I think movies and television were the downfall of America. It was an entertaining veneer for the agenda, and it worked beyond their wildest dreams. They only started losing control when the internet became a thing.

Kinda, my mom went to Berkeley where she studied Chinese and hung out with communists, while my dad was a hippie computer programmer. Thankfully dad was more free thought and let me come to my own conclusions. They had their problems and definitely had a fascination with the "other". They definitely passed that on to me, but a lot of things didn't sit quite right. First I rebelled by becoming a libertarian and rejecting their faggy universalist "methodist" version of jew worship for evolutionism, and eventually leaving that behind for tribalism and Paganism.

Neil DeGrasse Tyson actually redpilled me. There's a speech he gives where he discusses the relative contributions of islamic scientists vs jewish scientists to try to convince people that some cultures are better than others, and after listening to it I became more open minded to the possibility that some cultures aside from our own might be shitty and started criticizing islam more. All my atheist friends were hesitant, but then when I started learning more about how the federal reserve was run by jews, communism was spread by jews, and I realized jews were the root of the abrahamic religious tree so I started criticizing jews, and that's when all my atheist friends called me a Nazi so I started sympathizing with Nazis which led to me leaving those filthy atheist jew worshipers behind.

So thanks space nigger, you helped me become more racist. \o

I know your pain. My mom actually converted to the synagogue of satan just to piss off my dad's parents. Her's were dead.

"Being raised by commie parents is so unbelievably painful."

Shut your retarded autistic faggot self, nigger. Your parent spend endless energy in raising you and apparently didn't brainwash you. SHUT THE FUCK UP, NIGGER.

Yes, as a child not once did i have to actually work to get a share of other's food, clothing and resources.... it was brilliant.

[ - ] NuckFiggers 2 points 1 monthMar 25, 2025 16:55:22 ago (+2/-0)

My dad was a very neo Reagan Republican which means he LOVES kikes. He's since softened and become more of a faggot accepter (he used to make sounds of disgust around them).

He still adores Israel though. We almost had a blowup about it.

He'll be gone soon though, one less kikelover

My mom was 'Republican' but barely. A friend once brought a nigger friend over and you would have thought the Queen of England was visiting. We also had a nigger neighbor growing up that ended up murdering people and she always made excuses for his nigger behavior.

She's gone now though, thankfully.

Nah, my parents were cultural chauvinists who looked down upon other races. They never taught me to hate other people though, that part came naturally.

In the 1960s (I was under ten years old at the time), my dad used to attend the local Unitarian Universalist church, where he met a man who was a card-carrying communist, at least he was until he was kicked out of CPUSA for being too much of a communist. (I'll explain that if anyone asks.) My dad was an electronics engineer and by all rights an intelligent man, but rather naive. He was taken in by his friend's description of communism, its aims and goals, and for the rest of his life my dad believed in communism. I don't know how he reconciled the reality of the Soviet Union with the actuality of life in a communist totalitarian state, but somehow he was able to.

Because my parents were pretty liberal, I was raised with that. I never espoused communism, mostly because I never understood it and it seemed kind of simplistic and without any basis in reality. It wasn't until the Soviet Union fell that I really understood the horrors of communist regimes.

I made a hard turn to the right about 15 years ago and had to reassess everything I thought I knew and took for granted.

My parents were pretty conservative. Especially my mom. Not as far right as me though. They didn’t love Hitler. They had jewish friends and were polite to niggers. My mom was nigger pilled though and somewhat j-pilled. She explained to me what niggers were like with visual aids, when I was really young. Her old neighborhood had been totally destroyed by niggers.

She didn’t want us listening to rock’n’roll or watching cable tv. She frowned on promiscuity. Not keen on homos. I think she once told my dad’s friend that his homo son deserved to die of AIDS. My dad was really pissed. 🤣

My mom made a comment once that I remember very clearly. We saw a mixed race couple with a toddler going into the Y. She said "oh that poor kid" then caught her breath and my dad turned red. They had a heated argument later. This was in the 80s. I remember it well because my parents never argued and they only ever said glowing things about blacks and race mixing (horrible things about whites though). Now this makes me wonder if she had "tendencies" that he had to stomp out. She was from a pretty lace curtain Irish family and he was not.

I'm sorry for your losses to this horrible death cult. I'm glad you understand now. Someone I almost trust said "the veil has been lifted". Ask a christian they will explain it. But watch out for false doctrines. Its all in the books. use your brain which ones.

I'm maybe too soft for VOAT but I am astonished at how painful the realizations around this kind of upbringing are. And dealing with the commensurate self-hatred. It's deep. I was practicing a speech I need to give recently in front of the mirror, and just kept breaking down in tears at how hard it was to say positive things about some work I'd done. What should be simple, some nice words about a finished project. So loud are the voices that say you're terrible. I am very grateful my kids won't have that same upbringing. It's so insidious.

No. Dad was a member of the KKK. Burned a cross when I was 8.

Fucking cool. My dad is not a liberal but he is an overly soft republitard. Def would’nt burn crosses. My mom might’ve tho!

We all need redemption. Only Christians seem to understand the concept these days.

[ - ] PostWallHelena 5 points 1 monthMar 25, 2025 16:03:09 ago (+5/-0)

On this site, the chrisians seem to be more empathetic. Non-christians seem to have a more anti-social streak.

[ - ] HeyJames 2 points 1 monthMar 25, 2025 19:21:58 ago (+2/-0)

Sorry but @Love240 is definitely not empathetic

[ - ] Love240 1 point 1 monthMar 25, 2025 20:03:12 ago (+1/-0)

Maybe so.

But I still understand the need for redemption.

Christians are softfags.

[ - ] Joe_McCarthy -1 points 1 monthMar 25, 2025 17:39:39 ago (+0/-1)

Christians - the golden rule. Or at least I try to follow it.

Non-Christians - get over on the other guy to make yourself feel superior. Especially contrarian.

I dunno. There is A LOT of the second from all comers. But there is an obvious pleasure derived from insult seen here. And the non-Christians seem to lack a moral compass. Just some gaymers with anger management issues and various other shut-in proclivities.

My Dad was also a member of the kkk

Presumably coming from a Klan family (I'm guessing you were joshing) you'd know the term is cross lighting, not burning.

[ - ] AlexanderMorose13 0 points 1 monthMar 26, 2025 00:56:06 ago (+0/-0)

You know, this is always a subject that has confused me.

Isn't cross burning some kind of religious refutation? How was the act viewed through the eyes of the one who lit the cross?

The KKK is always shown in media burning crosses, but I doubted everything that was shown through media propaganda, because I never understood why they would burn something akin to the religion that they once fought for as a message to show their superiority?

[ - ] Gowithit 2 points 1 monthMar 25, 2025 15:25:34 ago (+3/-1)

Yes. You get over it and make comments to the kids when they are old enough to notice.

[ - ] Joe_McCarthy -6 points 1 monthMar 25, 2025 15:19:12 ago (+1/-7)

Exact opposite. Both parents were John Birchers. I've moved 'left'.

[ - ] Storefront [op] 1 point 1 monthMar 25, 2025 16:35:06 ago (+1/-0)

I don't know, I've met some naturalist John Birchers (they had a whole settlement where I grew up) who were like a weird hybrid ELF/KKK ideology. Well maybe it's not that weird. Huge vegans.

[ - ] Joe_McCarthy -1 points 1 monthMar 25, 2025 16:48:51 ago (+1/-2)

Interesting.

John Birch Society are known as ardent anti-Communists. My father was a health food store and herbal medicine nut though. But if there is anything that is actual Communism's opposite it has been the John Birch Society. They are even headquarted in McCarthy's hometown and hold an annual dinner in his honor.

[ - ] Joe_McCarthy -1 points 1 monthMar 25, 2025 17:24:07 ago (+0/-1)

Lots of conversations with Vladimir Putin. He is an ex-Communist after all and his parents were ardent reds. I think I was more Leninist than he was in 2022 though.

[ - ] Drstrangestgov 0 points 1 monthMar 25, 2025 17:43:51 ago (+0/-0)

Why's there a statue of Lenin in Wallingford?

[ - ] Joe_McCarthy 0 points 1 monthMar 25, 2025 17:49:50 ago (+1/-1)

Seems to be a commie relic of some sort.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Statue_of_Lenin_(Seattle)

The head of the Mississippi White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan had busts of Marx and Lenin in his house. He was a major target of FBI penetration as he was trying to assassinate MLK to start a race war.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samuel_Bowers

People would be really confused by the statues I'd erect.

[ - ] Drstrangestgov 0 points 1 monthMar 25, 2025 18:29:00 ago (+0/-0)

I always suspected he was a redneck or hillbilly of some sort saying "stay off my lawn!"

[ - ] Joe_McCarthy -1 points 1 monthMar 25, 2025 18:40:43 ago (+0/-1)

He is a Russian conservative from a very large city. Saint Petersburg. His party is classified as center-right.

Those guys still think like Marxist-Leninists though. When I asked their AI for a critique of British India it was explicitly Marxist. And Putin designed their AI system.

[ - ] Drstrangestgov 1 point 1 monthMar 25, 2025 18:56:10 ago (+1/-0)

I don't judge. There is only one redeemer
