Many guys have no idea how to shave themselves properly due to decades of being raised by women.

You may have to go back to first principles and relearn to shave correctly.

Faces vary, so what works for one shape may not work for you.

I found that I could use fewer strokes and less pressure to get a good close shave.

yeah kinda. I would say a safety razor shave adds a few minutes, but the blades are FAR cheaper, making it so you can swap blades more often, making your shave better.
