A good phone isn't even worth stealing anymore. Passwords, remote lock, even the parts/hardware are bonded via serial numbers to make selling the parts nearly impossible/low value.

Hell the OS even knows the serial numbers and when parts are different and the phone won't work.

Call any US provider and they'll brick the damn thing. The only thing a stolen phone could be used for is short term criminal activity before it is disposed of.
