Would like to see this in my town again. That all too brief time when everyone was so fearful that no one went outside was amazing. You could walk down the middle of the streets because there were zero cars.

Yep, i had to go to my pharmacy every second day for 'restricted' meds, who were working a skeleton staff, basically just for me and a couple of others.
It was a blast during our retarded jacinda ardern mandated 'hard 3-month lockdown'.
Use to drive like an utter maniac into the center of town and back out to the suburbs again - completely empty roads - zero Police cars out, never saw a single car on the road the entire time (tbf maybe half a doz other cars for the whole 3 months) - speed limits ? / lol what's that - rolling stopped every red light or just straight blew them if i could see it was already all clear - i was a polite smiling menace - wish i had a car cam for posterity purposes.
Didnt they also quarantine off entire apartment buildings for a single positive covid infection?. Who knew welding shut doors would meant those inside eventually die from starvation etc.
Plus there was so much deliberate misinfo purposely posted at the start - like bug people falling down drop dead and bodies just lying in the street stacked up - when that is simply implausible to the rest of the worlds real experience. i'll file this under 'with a grain of salt'.
