I'm interested as to why you think you're an authority on what I'd be comfortable giving my blood for. I don't have a problem with a lot of research that would involve my blood. My blood donation doesn't inherently involve having my genome sequenced alongside a bunch of other PII and sold off to the highest bidder.

All that said, I haven't donated blood in decades. I had a phlebotomist in college tear up my biceps tendon when donating plasma, and that was enough of that. Only blood I give now is for metabolic panels.

Lastly, I personally wasn't bitching about "23 and me retards" (which reads really funny the way you put it); just making an observation.
