Even if it's real, I think they're reading sexual connotations into it. I'm not saying it wasn't playful, flirtatious, whatever, but he first mentions being metaphorically spanked by Congress, and the fact he follows that with, "That's what I wanna do to you next time you don't tell me goodbye," seems pretty innocent. It's like the sort of shit you hear old guys saying that makes other generations uncomfortable but wouldn't have even drawn a glance in their day.
As for the "vit B" shots, I have no fucking idea. I wouldn't be surprised. It was a strange segue to end the phone call, that's for sure.
