Idk about that. I just know that it used to be a dangerous place and now it’s one of the safest. Unfortunately innocent people always get swept up but in this case it’s extremely obvious the pros outweigh the cons. Soemtimes innocent people get fucked no matter what the policy is. Not really. Right now, it may seem that way, but when you get scooped up for protesting the US aiding and abetting Israel's genocide and labeled a "terrorist" and get sent to this prison for life, you may not feel that way. Due process is a right, not a privilege, and the USG is barred by the 5th amendment from punishing anyone without due process of law. Illegals get their day in court. It's been that way since the beginning. And, sending Venezuelans to El Salvador to an abusive prison for a life term isn't a legit sentence for someone convicted of being here illegally, let alone someone accused of being here illegally.

And don't forget, it was Trump's first term, with that faggot John Bolton, that used these people in an attempt to overthrow Maduro. Many of them have legit concerns that their life was in danger when that coup failed. We have no business putting them in an El Salvadoran shit hole for the rest of their lives.

Due process is a legal issue, not subject to what you consider to be "war". And, suggesting that we are at "war" with illegal aliens and gangs in the US simply shows how lacking you are of the concept of "war". The front lines of the Russia-Ukraine conflict is "war". Gaza, right now, is "war". Niggers killing each other for gang territory and the occasional, and utterly preventable, collateral damage isn't a war.

Also, learn what "habeas corpus" is. These people aren't being detained without a hearing to answer for their charges. They are being imprisoned. Punished. A 2022 DHS intelligence report was sent to US Customs and Border Protection which indicated that violent criminals from Venezuela were among the caravans headed toward the border. Maduro was releasing prisoners early and encouraged them to join the caravans headed to the US.
