I am convinced that smoking is not as dangerous as we are told. The government going so hard with anti-smoking campaigns makes me think that smoking is dangerous to the government.
I think it makes you smarter. And smart people tend to notice things.
That said, just like our food, cigarettes of today are NOT what they were back in the 40s. There are tons of poisonous additives and shit in modern cigarettes... that's probably where the danger comes from. Smoking pure, clean tobaccos without fiberglass filters is probably mostly harmless.
Over 600 known additives - commercial tobacco are not even actual tobacco leaf. Tobacco leaves are harvested and pressed to extract out the juice (nicotine containing) - Huges rolls of recycled paper are then dipped/ bathed otherwise infused with the now additive-laden nicotine juice, then the rolls are dried/ cured and chopped/ sliced into small segments before packaged into a cigarette. In this way the amount of nicotine per cigarette/ packet can be uniformly regulated.
Most, if not all of the old tobacco companies were jew owned. That's why they were crammed full of harmful addictive elements other than plain tobacco. The taxes that the governments, Fed, state and local, steals is atrocius.

Oh yes, i could believe that, plus The Tax take from tobacco is just outrageous. Someone may have mentioned it here on voat/ upgoat before, but any smoker should get preferential treatment from the health system simply based on the amount of tax they would have paid to the govt over a lifetime.
So, I'm probably right, then- the cigarettes of today may be dangerous poison, but oldschool, additive free cigarettes that use actual tobacco: probably fine to use in moderation. Probably has some benefits to it.

Most likely yes, does smoking / inhalation of tobacco have some negative health effects - very likely - but i really believe it's been over hyped and those effects use to take years/ decades to become fatal.
Maybe 10-15 years ago i searched all over the net for any clinical study's that used organic tobacco and someone that lived like a native South american shaman to see if 'additive free tobacco' presented similar detrimental health benefits to commercial tobacco use - no surprise couldnt find anything.
The sheer zeal that government funded/produced anti-smoking campaigns should be a massive red flag. The government was selling these campaigns as "we care about your health". The government- caring about your health, specifically the health of people who are older (the negative effects associated with smoking don't typically affect people until later in life, with some variation)- that's a far more outrageous statement than anything I've said.
If the government gave a shit about our health, they wouldn't lie about nutrition and force that indoctrination in schools. They wouldn't have been mandating fucking lockdowns- they'd be mandating "minimum of 30 minutes of cardio per day or you go to fucking prison", since obesity-related shit kills way more than anything else, including smoking-related diseases.
Instead, the government threw its lot in with "body positivity" bullshit, saying "it's okay to be fat and disgusting, just be you gurllll". I assume UncleDoug is down with that cause, because the government says it's good?
Tobacco is harmful to health, doesn’t matter who makes it. That you are seriously suggesting if tobacco is organic it doesnt cause cancer is ludicrous.
Lol, never said smoking doesnt cause cancer stop lying you goof - esp after decades of continual inhalation it no doubt may present in serious issues. However modern commercial tobacco is entirely different to early tobacco, so imo it's laughable to compare the two.
Idk man, there is so much bullshit that the government pushes, I question anything. Especially when they go HARD with anti-whatever campaigns, spending millions of dollars to socially engineer the population.
I didn't say it wasn't dangerous- just not as HYSTERICALLY PANIC-WORTHY as it was sold to us. I also don't think you read the part where I said "modern cigarettes are poison but oldschool, pure ones are probably okay IN MODERATION".
You just read one sentence and reply, like a nigger? Come on Doug you're better than that.

Many of the additives are known carcinogens and cancer causing.

Organic tobacco is not the same as commercial tobacco - everything carries some risk, but stop being a faggot.
