German model Martina Big—who now goes by Malaika—is once again making headlines. The 36-year-old, who was born white but has undergone extensive melanin injections and tanning to darken her skin, says she plans to relocate to Africa because she feels a “deep connection” to the continent and its people.

But first, she wants more surgery.

Malaika has already undergone multiple procedures, including extreme breast enlargements, lip injections, and tanning treatments. Now, before making the move, she plans to have a backside augmentation and surgery to “widen her nose.” She and her husband, Michael Groß, have shortlisted Kenya and Namibia as possible destinations, but he worries she won’t be able to sustain her modeling career in Africa.

Malaika, who has faced harsh backlash over the years for what critics call “Blackface”, says she doesn’t let the negativity stop her. She believes she will be welcomed in Africa, citing past visits where she was recognized by locals who wanted selfies with her. Despite criticism, she remains determined to follow through with her plans, stating: “I can’t wait to live there.”
