What most people don't realize is that all of the pyramids of Giza are themselves built on a base of irregular stones that forms the whole plateau. Those are man-made Stones which form the plateau and the number of stones in the plateau is greater than the number of stones in all the giza pyramids combined. So in actual fact the real wonder of the world is the base that all the pyramids rest on.

This furthers that idea.
