I don’t know. Big rambunctious dogs can scratch and leave marks. That in itself is not so alarming.
I had an aggressive dog years ago. Not a pitbull. He bit me a few times. I gave him a lot of attention. He eventually got better. Never perfect. But he was a pretty good dog and I had him for years until he died.
Its hard to tell at 4 months whether a dog is going to go psycho or can be rehabilitated unless youre a behavioral expert. Sad situation. Wonder if we got the full story. Hard to believe even an aggressive pit jumps on a guy doing absolutely nothing provocative. Maybe it was an electric razor?

The article says the dog was living on the street, starving, so probably abused which didn't help. Extremely aggressive for a female dog - trying to go for her owner's neck so she was intending to kill him.

Yeah who knows. Could have had brain damage. Usually these stories are about male pits. They can be a really sweet loveable breed, but not for beginners. Lucky this wasnt a kid.
Breeding pitbulls should be illegal. The breed should be wiped out by forced sterilization of all pitbulls with an owner and euthanasia for those without. Owners of pitbulls can keep their mutt, but it's the last one they'll have.
Any time one of those fucking nigger dogs comes near my kids I stand between the dog and them and tell the owner in no uncertain terms I will kill their dog and then them if they come any closer.
Fuck anyone who has one of these pieces of shit. They deserve to die.
