Most, if not all, technology related boot camps are scams intended to exploit the gullible and stupid.

There's one bootcamp I know of that keeps advertising that students can use their GI Bill for it.

Why not take a few courses at an established college / trade school?

Colleges also offer these bootcamps, and reddit even knows they're a rip off.

Although I would tend to agree with your trade school suggestion. Often flexible classes and you'll get what you need out of them. Lots of OJT options too once you've completed so many hours of classes (although I can't say for sure if that applies to their tech-related classes).

There are also MANY programming "How To's" packages that come with online tuitorials.

Also remember the 100% FREE "Khan Academy"

Most community colleges offer classes for programming. I'd rather go that route than a boot camp.

Invest in yourself, and your future earning potential.

Cut back on the bullshit you don't really need.

Coding should be self-taught and self teaching means building apps you are passionate about.

For c# i recommend unity if its for games. Uses mono so can port to most platforms.

For web, just fuck around following tutorials but just stick to core code not framework

self teaching means building apps you are passionate about.

That's the important part. Have something you want to build and build it. Sure, it'll suck trying to figure it out but you'll get there. Or you won't and find that programming isn't for you.
