I know there is a French Study as well, but it came out of a small hospital around early COVID times, and I've never been able to find a link to anything official. If you Google it, there are a lot of small articles still referencing the French study, but they never seem to provide a source. However, it's more about smokers having lower rates of infection (COVID) than non-smokers.
I took horse pill ibuprofen and something to prevent my stomach lining from getting fucked up when I had myo and pericarditis from food poisoning. I'll never put a cigarette to my lips.
Might have some medical justification. Chemo is large doses of poison injected concentrated into the bloodstream all at once. Poison tends to kill over-replicating cancerous cells first, which have weaker constitution demanding large amounts of blood (they grow their own supply).
A little of the opposite brings the body back into balance. Same reason we eat small amounts of burning acids like vinegar and inflammatory agents like hot peppers.
Lower blood oxygen levels temporarily produce endorphins missing from the lack of success and being part of a group. Constant stress is detrimental to the human psyche. But most major smoking tobacco products have purposely added few hundred extra chemicals to kill the person self-medicating.
