I just came back from visiting there actually, was catching AFI openening up for Green Day. I thought that the other opener, Private Function were really good too! I flew in to the Gold Coast airport and was not shocked to find out it had closed.

I very well may have taken the last flight back to US from Brisbane Airport, last I checked I heard that that one was closed down, as well.

Green Day is awful. I mean, they've got some old stuff with nostalgia value, but they were always my least favorite punk outfit. I liked AFI in my emo days ca. 2003-05. I'd spend 25 bucks to see them locally. My brother saw them in the States last summer and said it was a great show. You've got to be really fucking passionate to fly to Australia for that. Then again, I have no idea where Mr. Stewart lives.
