Simple question about BT headphones problem

submitted by Conspirologist to technology 1 monthMar 6, 2025 17:16:11 ago (+1/-1)     (technology)

Got new BT headphones. Worked fine for 2 weeks. Then suddenly left headphone quit working and started giving electrical noise. After I switched them off and turned them on, they are normal again. Are they defective and should I return them, or it is common for BT headphones?

Some types, not all require both headphones to be powered up, even if your not using one. One is the master connecting via Bluetooth, and then the other is the slave working over its own protocol. I had this crap happen with my Bose ultraquiet comfort 2 earbud pieces of junk.

Anyway, I have found a $5 set off TEMU not only works and connects better, I could give 2 shits if I loose one of them

I like the TOZO-10, doesnt have master-slave-itis, charged well, can be used in one ear without issue, just never use the microphone on it because the implementation is fucked.
