it has not. There is MASSIVE fraud and every five- eight years something bubbles up to highlight it.


It's the medical side of social security that really has fraud all over it.

Also don't forget that 40 million illegals got access to the systems in some form or fashion (sanctuary statues, tins, bennies for checking in, the list goes on and many, many programs over the years have tapped into it)


The real problem is the congress critters have been taping the fund for at least 30 years now for pet projects . Mostly dems, but some Repbs.

It's absolutely insolvent at the moment and the requirements for bennies will go up about x6 when the next round of retirements hit with the last of the boomers and start of gen xers in like 4 more years and the money is simply not there. It's just not. The forcast are for something like 20 TRILLION dollars are needed to cover the future bennies for the next 15 years.

So what to do?
